SEEING THROUGH THE EYES OF PRAYER. ROMANS 1:14.

Without a doubt, we all have a prism of seeing things concluding regarding what is right or wrong. However, the art of prayer invites us to see people and things that are often confusing and difficult to understand in their true nature and perspective.  A great example of what I am highlighting are the two characters at the front of today's war in Ukraine, President Putin and Zelensky.

The nature of the season we have been ushered in will require us to increase our insight and understanding, especially as the proximity of the kingdom of God continues to shake our position and posture of ideologies. Being able to identify the right condition of things and people is a virtue that is critical in our time.

When situations, or, individuals are seeing in their through character nature, it becomes a bit easy to know how to engage and approach them.  Before we seek or even assume a solution, we need to understand why things are as they are. It is my strong persuasion that praying in accordance with the will of the Lord is to see things in their true image and nature. This saves us from being presumptive and prejudicial.

Making judgments is part of human nature. Daily, we can be called and invited to make decisions. However, making judgments according to the correct reality of things is an art of sound spiritual biblical maturity, which has developed in the place of prayer. Decisions that require deep knowledge beyond what is seen from a limited human perspective. How often do we see, hear or even experience situations, and we come to a conclusion completely different from the truth that heaven tends to reveal?

Presumption has caused a lot of unnecessary emotional pain, delays and frustrations in prayer or the search for answers. A wrong conclusion about the state of things will always hinder us from arriving at the right answer.
