Prayer is a vast spiritual venture that requires a continual search of the right concept and protocol of engagement. Many times, believers get frustrated in the prayer work due to the lack of certain basic foundational standards in their prayer journey. However, we have been given the privilege to study the lives of those who have gone ahead of us in matters of prayer and other arts of biblical spirituality. 

David is one of those spiritual Icons who have laid for us insight into the ways of the Spirit, especially in the place of spiritual standard. There are several things I have learned from the life of David as a spiritual mentor, and one of those things is the concept of developing the right moral perspective which assisted men in the establishment of sound, biblical judgment. 

Prayer cannot be effective without the appropriate value judgment and operational standard to life. religion and the practice of religious ritual allow people to be divided in their perspective to life, especially in matters of morality. In Psalm one, David, lays down the position we must embrace in order to attract not just the blessings of the Lord, but working in the state of perpetual victory even in the place of prayer.
