DEVELOPING SPIRITUALLY THROUGH SPIRIT-LED PRAYER AND INTERCESSION. PART 6
The Lord calls his church into a new position of spiritual depth. This depth requires that we learn and update our knowledge and understanding of the spiritual dynamics. One of the ways we understand the spirit is to learn to pray in the Spirit, in the Spirit through and through the Spirit.
As we allow the spirit of God to pray in us and through us, we will indeed become the one with him. Our lives will become a conduit by which the things of the Spirit can flow through. Each river needs a channel that can flow through it to provide its provision to different areas of life. One of the things the Spirit of the Lord demands in this new day is that we become a river through which he can flow, especially through the ministry of prayer and intercession.
The easiest way to learn to grow up in the Spirit of the Lord is to pray through a redeemed, reformed and transformed spirit man. As we submit to the voice of the spirit prayer and supplication, we will begin to better understand the way, truth and life of the Father. No, one comes to the knowledge of God without going through the path of deep intercession. As we pray in and through the spirit of intercession, the Lord burdens our hearts, which causes our heart to truly become a home for Christ and his purposes. The heartbeat of the Lord's desire for nations is often revealed in the place of prayer.
Our spirit begins to yield to prayer with the intention to please the Father. Not only will our lives become an instrument of someone’s answered prayer, but we will also become the expression of prophetic fulfillment. Praying the mind of the Father is a direct way to grow up and function in the prophetic intentions of God.
Prayer is not only about asking for a need to be met, but also an instrument that seeks to reveal into manifestation approved. As we pray, the revealed will of God through his word, our spirit begins to understand and develop in the nature of the ways and purposes of God.
