Alien Yuppie Slugs Just Wanna Have Fun

It came from beyond the stars, or at least from South of Yorkshire - which is the same thing for us. Second Sight's new Blu-Ray restoration of "Flight of the Navigator" prompts an '80s sci-fi special, with Tim tackling Randal Kleiser's children's classic while Rob covers John Sayles's "Brother From Another Planet" and Graham gets in touch with his inner coked-up yuppie for "The Hidden".

Before that, there's the not-so-small matter of last week's Director's Lottery, which came out with Richard Linklater. We plumped for his none-more-90s debut film "Slacker", paying homage to its unique meandering structure by having one of us getting lost in the internet and the others chatting about conspiracy theories for a bit.

It's a deliberate homage, honest.
