217: Do the Right Thing + Used Cars + Jean Cocteau - Eclectica #217

They Saved Hitler's Bath

It's been 30 years since Spike Lee unleashed "Do the Right Thing" on cinemas like a bin pitched through a pizzeria window. Now, Aidan and Graham convene to give you the double truth, Ruth, about how it holds up in the modern era.

Off the Shelf sees Aidan looking at the very early (and very atypical), Robert Zemeckis film "Used Cars" - which has been reissued by Eureka - while Graham envelops this review in a duvet of Jean Cocteau reissues ("Blood of a Poet" and The "Testament of Orpheus"), from Studio Canal.

Come for the reviews, stay for the trivia about Hitler's bath.
