A) Jennifer Woods, Clerk to the Board

1. Approval- August 31,2021 Joint Meeting with the Board of Education Minutes

2. Approval- Appointment of Commissioner Charlie Hall to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, term to expire June 30, 2023.

B) Pat Galloway, Director of Financial Services

1. Approval- Increase Economic Development budget $2,000 for contribution received from City of Eden to go towards an economic impact study.

2. Approval- Increase Sheriff Department budget $3,000 for a donation received to be applied towards the purchase of a new K-9.

3. Approval- Increase Emergency Management budget $10,000 for the Hazard Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) grant awarded to cover cost of training exercise. No County match required.

4. Approval- Request from Rockingham Community College (RCC) to certify to the State that local County appropriation of $940,000 is available to add the Industrial Technology II Building renovation project. The County funding being appropriated to this project is from the existing Article 46 sales tax that the County has dedicated to RCC for workforce development initiatives. No new County funding is being requested.

D) Rodney Stewart, RCEMS Operations Supervisor
Approval- EMS Financial Statement August 2021

E) Trey Wright, Director of Public Health
Approval- Appointment to the Board of Health & Human Services for Commissioner Don Powell to fill the vacated position previously held by Commissioner Reece Pyrtle.
