 The next regular meeting of the Wentworth Planning Board is scheduled for Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Council Chambers.

 The next regular meeting of the Wentworth Town Council is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Council Chambers.

 The Wentworth Town Hall will be closed Monday, September 3, 2018 in observance of Labor Day.

 The 5th Annual ‘Run With the Cows’ 5K Run/Walk will be held at the Chinqua Penn Walking Trail on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 3:00pm. The ‘1 Mile Kid’s Fun Run’ will be begin at 2:00pm. For more information go to www.chinquapenntrail.org

Pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11(a)(3) To consult with attorney in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Town, and pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11(a)(5) To establish, or instruct the public body’s staff or negotiating agents concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the public body in negotiating the price and other material terms of a contract or proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, exchange, or lease. The Property is located at 591 NC 65 in Wentworth, NC and is owned by Rockingham County. The property is intended to be used for recreational and historical preservation.
