Podcast Launch Lab / Lesson 3 - Get Organized + equipment, setting up your podcasting systems

Published: Sept. 22, 2021, 7 a.m.

In this lesson, we'll talk about how to get organized, and some basic recording and editing software so you can start putting this roadmap into action!

Before we get started, I always want you to check in with what's happening in your brain.  Starting a podcast is no different than anything else we're doing, especially when there's a learning curve or we're doing something new.

Doubts will come up and this is how I help my clients -- we need to figure out what's up with your podcasting brain so you don't try recording that intro for the 20th time, or fidegting with the mic sound.

This podcasting thing is YOUR wild west. So let's go create it!

In the last Lesson, I asked you 10 questions. These questions become the foundation for your own personalized podcast success roadmap, which makes the rest easy becuase you are showing up from a place that feels fun, good, and in alignment with your vision for your podcast which you're been building since we started this Workshop.

Here’s a peek at what you’ll learn in this lesson:

  • How to get organized and set up a content calendar
  • Microphone recommendations - barebones to mid-range options
  • Recording and editing
