Pocketnow Weekly 155: The 10Ah smartphone

Published: July 7, 2015, 9:50 p.m.

There's an Apple patent that might have us all sharing files with handshakes in the not-too-distant future. Sprint's new CEO is finally fed up with John Legere and recently said so on Twitter. Android is running on BlackBerry. And there's a 10,000 mAh (or 10Ah, if you prefer) smartphone out there that, judging from the photos, is not the size of a household refrigerator. All this news demands more than a quick blurb on the front page; it should be immortalized in the halls of podcast history, and that's what we're gonna (try to) do today. All of the above, plus a look at the newest from OPPO, your listener mail, and some almost-unavoidable Google Hangouts issues, await you on Pocketnow Weekly 155! So strap in tight and deploy your helmet visor; this catapult launch is gonna be a rocky one. Watch the video broadcast from 12:00pm Eastern on July 3 (click here for your local time), or check out the high-quality audio version dropped here.
