Description

Do you feel overwhelmed and stressed by the news? You're not alone. Almost two-thirds of the people in the U.S. are stressed by the news, according to a study by The American Psychological Association. We are helpless and hopeless in the face of diverse misinformation, and our civic engagement inevitably suffers as a result. Etha is here to help address these issues.

What is Etha?

Etha is an interactive news social media application that aims to introduce more transparency into the political system by providing the general public with a way to hold politicians accountable. The app is free for everyone, in order to make sure that information is accessible to everyone. Etha's AI makes sure to provide credible and factual information, as well as mitigate the spread of misinformation, in order to promote intelligent political discourse.

How Etha Works

Etha is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. Simply download the app and create an account. Once you're logged in, you can start reading articles and sharing your thoughts with the community.

Home

The Home screen of the app looks like a news version of Tinder or Hot or Not. You are presented with a public figure, their relevance to the public, and a statement they have made. You can then decide whether or not you agree with the statement with a swipe of your finger. It is important to note that the actions are backward from normal, with agree to the left and disagree to the right.

Leaderboard

The Etha Leaderboard ranks public figures according to their statement accuracy and user approval. The more accurate a public figure is, and the more users that approve of them, the higher they will be ranked on the leaderboard.

Trending

Trending looks like a traditional newsfeed, but with a few Etha-specific features. The list shows the trending statements for the platform, with the sentiment bar below it. Under that, you've got your agree and disagree buttons, a comment button with the total count, and a share button.

Profile

Your Etha profile is where you can manage your account settings and view your activity on the app. To access your profile, simply click on the profile icon in the top-right corner of the Home screen. On your profile

Why Etha?

In these times of stress and anxiety, it's more important than ever to be informed about what's going on in the world around us. However, it can be difficult to sift through all of the noise and find reliable sources of information. Etha provides a solution by offering a platform for transparent news and discussion. The platform doesn't restrict the viewpoints of those who make statements, but it does give users and the AI the ability to show the accuracy and public sentiment of those statements.

Etha is the social network that helps you cut through the nonsense and get informed about what's really going on in the world. To learn more about the platform or to give it a try, head over to the company's website.
