Description

Growing up as a child, I was always in the kitchen. I had the opportunity to learn to cook at a very early age, and I was always told one important thing: never get too close to the pressure cooker because it may either burn me or explode! That created a fear for life, which has left me being uncomfortable using one to this day. Improvements in technology from companies like CookingPal, however, has helped to ease that fear with products that are much safer and easier to use.

Who is CookingPal?

CookingPal is a support system for all things cooking-related. The company's first product, which is called Multo, is an intelligent cooking system that can replace multiple appliances in your kitchen. The Multo makes cooking easier and help to make you feel that it is your "pal" in the kitchen. Some of the devices that it replaces are a blender, a slow cooker, a food processor, a scale, a steamer, a rice cooker, and many more.

The product also comes with a tablet, which they call the Smart Kitchen Hub. The Hub is designed to be water resistant, which is an important aspect for a kitchen. The Hub has hundreds of recipes with more added on a weekly basis and even offers the ability to sign up for cooking classes. It offers various ways to assist you in your cooking journey, including offering videos, classes, and more. Plus, the Hub is also your entry point to the Multo itself, allowing you to control the operation of the device. You can set temperatures, timers, speeds, and a lot more.

CookingPal's new device

This brings us to the newest available product called Pronto. This is the pressure cooker of the future. The Pronto is a connected and smart pressure cooker, allowing you to control and monitor the device remotely. For those of us with a safety fear, now we don't have to get near it while it's running. The device can also be controlled using the Kitchen Smart Hub, allowing you to integrate the recipe capabilities into your experience.

Adding to the safety features, it has an auto pressure release for built-up steam and a steam diverter so that the steam goes off to the side and not up and into your face. There are cool touch handles with ceramic coating for easy grip and are dishwasher-safe and a scale for weighing food and being accurate for cooking time. It can be used standalone, can be controlled by the phone app, or with the Smart Kitchen Hub.

The Pronto also offers a companion called Alto which is an air fryer that locks into the Pronto cooker. It has a 6-quart capacity and will also fit into any other 6-quart capacity pressure cooker. Its sleek design is a nice fit into any kitchen. The Pronto has an integrated scale, while can be used in pressure cooker and air fryer mode. When used with the air fryer, it makes cooking much more accurate for timing.

Summary

The Multo is available now and retails for $999. The Pronto is available for pre-order now and retails for $279. The Alto is also available for pre-order and retails for $119. The Smart Kitchen Hub will be available as a standalone purchase in Summer 2023 and will retail for $300. To learn more about the company, check out their website.
