\\xa0Dr. Sacharitha Bowers went to medical school and completed her dermatology residency at Southern Illinois University. She has extensive experience in private practice and managed to make the transition from private to academics is now the Program Director where she trained. She has a particular interest in immunodermatology and the impact of nutrition and supplementation on dermatologic disease. Because of her interests in diversity, inclusion and health equity, she is also the Vice Chair of the Diversity, Inclusion, Community, and Equity Council.
