Dr. Swiner attended Duke University and went to medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. She\\u2019s has lived in the Triangle of Durham, NC since finishing residency at UNC-Chapel Hill and continues teaching as an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Family Medicine department with interests in Minority Health, Women\\u2019s Health, Self-Care and Female Entrepreneurship. When she\\u2019s not treating patients at Durham Family Medicine, she\\u2019s spending time with her family, speaking nationally, freelancing for WebMD and teaching others to self-publish.
