b'GLBL VLLG (Global Village) an urban wellness and entertainment company. So what does that mean exactly? I spoke with Lyonzo Vargas CEO and Co-Founder and Brisa Smith Flores, Digital Marketing and Sales Manager of GLBL VLLG which creates events called VLLG Jams in which the participants are the headliners. They sponsoring ManiFEST 2019 on August 3rd - an interactive entertainment and wellness festival aimed at celebrating the creative spirit in all people and the social connection we all share through music, art, and well-being. (Also hear me embarrass myself getting happily in the spirit of GLBL VLLG at the end of the interview trying to carry a tune.)

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. I speak with Officer Joe Davis and Detective Les Glauner of the Upper Merion Police Department partnering with Plymouth Township Police Department for their annual National Night Out event in King of Prussia

First we talk about one of my favorite cool events of the year - Philly Free Streets a people-powered initiative of the City of Philadelphia. Philly Free Streets temporarily closes streets to cars, inviting people to walk, bike, roll, and play. This year it returns to N. Broad Street. I speak with Shalimar Thomas, Executive Director of North Broad Renaissance and Ellen Lissy Rosenberg VP of Development and Civic Engagement for the Goldenberg Group. http://www.phillyfreestreets.com/'
