The 30th Annual African American Children\\u2019s Book Fair takes place February 26th from 1-4 pm at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. I speak with its founder, Vanesse Lloyd-Sgambati and four of the many award-winning authors (an Illustrators) who will appear at this extraordinary family event which highlights the very best in children\\u2019s literature. I talk with Natasha Tarpley, author of I Love My Hair,\\u201d Cheryl Willis Hudson, author, editor, and cofounder and editorial director of Just Us Books, an independent company that focuses on Black-interest books for children and young adults, Baptiste Paul, author of well-reviewed books including The Field and Adrea Theodore, author of A History of Me, one of four highlighted by the NY Times as a \\u201cWhat to Read\\u201d Children\\u2019s Book.
