The event takes place February 26th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Here\\u2019s a sobering statistic \\u2013At current rates, an estimated 1 in 2 African American men who have sex with men will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetime. February 7th is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day - an opportunity to increase awareness of care and treatment services for those facing stigma and HIV-related health disparities and encourage those who are undiagnosed to get tested for HIV and, if they test positive, to get appropriate care and medication.
