First - are your kids ready for the first day of school? I speak to Dr. Tony Watlington, Superintendent School District of Philadelphia and Melanie Harris, Chief of Information Technology for the School District about resources for parents and students getting ready for school. A special emphasis was placed on the Affordable Connectivity Progam (ACP), a federal benefit to help all U.S, households access or keep their internet. Eligible households can receive a discount of $30 dollars a month towards broadband service. A reminder Households with Internet Essentials through PHLConnectED will keep their internet but will receive a monthly bill if they don\\u2019t transition to ACP. Families can visit ACP Enrollment Assistant (getacp.org) or call 2-1-1 to schedule an ACP appointment with a Digital Navigator.
