Loraine Ballard Morrill is part of a group that helps advise the Barnes Foundation for its Artist Bash series along with the Rob Buscher from the Philadelphia Asian American film Festival, Isaac Ewall from One Hunted and Erica Hawthorn Manon from Small but Mighty Arts. Loraine spoke with the latest Artist Bash which invites musicians, dancers, historians, and singers to address their idea of home—is it a place, a memory, or a person? Erica also talks about her organization which offers resources and micro grants to independent artists.

February is American Heart Month and Loraine speaks with cardiologist Riti Patel from Lankenau Heart Institute about the tremendous impact of heart disease on women as the number one killer of both women and men. Loraine also speaks with heart survivor Nina Stanley about the challenges she had receiving a correct diagnosis. Both discuss the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign to raise awareness about heart disease and prevention.
