How many of you remember the name Gary Hart? Hart was the front runner in the race for the democratic presidential nomination in 1987 and he might have won and the course of history completely changed if a scandal didn’t derail his campaign. That scandal was a watershed moment that marked the rise of tabloid journalism and so much more. Jason Reitman has directed a new movie about Hart called the Front runner and Loraine Ballard Morrill had a chance to interview the director while he was in town for the Philadelphia International Film Festival.
