How childcare subsidies could add $2.1b in economic activity

A report from KPMG shows increasing subsidies for childcare to 95 per cent of total costs would add an extra $2.1 billion in economic activity.  The Parenthood executive director Georgie Dent says there are very tangible economic benefit from investing in childcare.  "We know the cost of early education in Australia is high, for lots of women there is no financial benefit to working more than three days a week."
