The talented Dr. Kate Hurley gave the final presentation of the day at the 13th Annual Business of Saving Lives Conference at Tony La Russa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in Walnut Creek, California. Her inspiring presentation is entitled, “From One Sneeze to a Million Lives,” and discusses her journey and search for a solution to Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) of cats in shelters, along with her Million Cat Challenge.

About Dr. Kate Hurley

Kate Hurley, DVM, MPVM is Program Director of the Koret Shelter Medicine Program at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Hurley began her career as an animal control officer in 1989 at the Santa Cruz SPCA, and ten years later, in 1999, graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
