Kathryn Weber-Boer on Life in the Netherlands, COVID-19, Socialism, and Archaeology

Published: Aug. 17, 2020, 3:54 p.m.

Kathryn Weber-Boer is a socialist of the international revolutionary variety. As a young activist, she was involved in the Campaign to End the Death Penalty, Palestinian activism, and the movement against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. She now lives in the Netherlands, where she is occupied by motherhood, wage labor, and household management (she's a wife, mother, and university employee). In her free time, she is working towards a PhD in archaeology, trying to understand political power in the past.
