Sarah Johnson is a lead organizer with Organized and United Residents of Michigan City (OURMC). She is a Northwest Indiana native and has worked for the past eleven years with community organizations and nonprofits throughout the state and region, including in Indianapolis and Detroit. Her work has focused on a variety of subjects including immigrant and refugee rights, Head Start programming, lead poisoning, electoral campaigning, and anti-gentrification efforts.
