Granted Appeal Summary

Case

ANDREW LAMONT SPRATLEY v. COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA (Record Number 181452) From The Court of Appeals of Virginia.

Counsel

Wayne L. Kim (Law Office of Wayne L. Kim, P.L.L.C.) for appellant. Katherine Q. Adelfio (Office of the Attorney General) for appellee.

 Assignment of Error

The trial court erred when it held that the Commonwealth sufficiently established that the fair market replacement value of the scale exceeded $1000.00 for a felony conviction and the Court of Appeals erred by affirming the trial court’s decision that the Commonwealth had proved the value of the scale exceeded $1000.00.
