Darius Arya is an archaeologist, pro\\xadfes\\xadsor and host in several documentaries for Discover, History and National Geographic channels.
\\n\\n\\nMost recently -- he explored three of the most fascinating cities of the ancient world, Athens, Cairo and Istanbul, for PBS\'s Ancient Invisible Cities.
\\n\\n\\nSince 2002, Dar\\xadius has been the executive director of the nonprofit Amer\\xadi\\xadcan Insti\\xadtute for Roman Cul\\xadture, leading field school excavations and study programs.
\\n\\n\\nHe\'s also currently a guest scholar at the Getty Conservation Institute at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, doing research on the role of new media for heritage preservation and promotion.
