In this episode of the Roald Dahl Retrospective, Patricia, Arun, and special guest Eli "TheHeroOfTomorrow" Stone discuss about the 2009 stop motion animated film Fantastic Mr. Fox based on the 1970 book of the same name co-written and directed by Wes Anderson. It stars George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Willen DeFoe, Michael Gambon, Eric Anderson, Robin Hurlstone, Hugo Guinness, and Jarvis Cocker.   The movie is about a fox named Mr. Fox who has a love for hunting chicken, geese, and other things in farms alongside with his wife. However, they were captured and Mrs. Fox reveals that she\'s pregnant asking Mr. Fox to never hunt again. Two years later, they have a son named Ash and Mr. Fox is a newspaper writer. Feeling unsatisfied with his life, Mr. Fox moves in a large tree with his family and learns that he lives near three farmers named Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. Mr. Fox decides to plan the ultimate plan stealing their goods behind their backs. Little does he know that they found out and they plan to kill him.

When the movie premiered in theaters, it only made $46.5 million dollars out of a $40 million dollar budget and had gotten praise from critics. However it was overshadowed by other critically acclaimed animated films such as Coraline and Up. Since then, it has became a cult classic for animation fans and Roald Dahl fans.
