In this episode of DreamMachine, Patricia and Arun discuss about the 2004 DreamWorks animated film Shark Tale. It focuses on a fish named Oscar who works in a whale wash trying to raise money to pay a huge debt to his boss. However, he continues to do many schemes and failing at it. But one day, he accidentally stumbles upon a shark who was killed by an anchor and is dubbed a "shark slayer" by everyone. But the shark was the son of a mafia boss and wants to seek out revenge against Oscar. Will Oscar clear his lies or will he continue his facade?

When the movie premiered in theaters, it made $367 million dollars and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. At the time, it received mixed reviews, but now has been called the worst DreamWorks movie of the bunch. Is that statement still true almost 15 years later? Listen and find out.
