Baptism

b'We know that baptism is where our sins are washed away and we receive the gift of salvation. But there is so much more that happens in the water. We are brought into the family of God and have a new group of people we belong to. We have the divisions and prejudices of the world removed. We receive the gift of the Holy Spirit which begins to shape and transform us into the image of our Creator. Ultimately, Jesus died on the cross for us, and baptism is where we publicly declare that we are willing to give our life for Jesus Christ, sharing in his death and resurrection.'
