Growing up in the Dynamite Hill section of town during the turbulent Civil Rights era, Judge Brown was a firsthand witness to the acts of terror. From surviving bombings of neighbors’ homes to Marching on Washington in August 1963 to becoming the Presiding Judge of Jefferson County, AL, Judge Brown has lived a lifetime! Now Judge is happily retired and tending to the immaculate gardens in his yard. He shared some incredible stories and life lessons. Thank you, Judge, for sharing your journey with us!
