b'We talk to Dawn Preece and Zinnia Ritz of York Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who were kind enough to share with us their experience of the 2013 Total Reward Statements (TRS) technical pilot and the benefits to the trust of being involved in the pilot. \\n\\nThey also share with us the lessons they learned for main roll out, what planning they have already undertaken and what their next steps are to prepare for statements being available in their organisation. \\n\\nYork are in tranche one for TRS, which means statements will be available in their organisation from the end of August 2014. The trust does not have ESR self-service, so their access route will be via the Government Gateway.\\n\\nTotal Reward statements (TRS) have been developed by NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) in partnership with the Electronic Staff Records programme to support staff retention and motivation, by providing NHS staff with details on the overall value of their employment package. Statements will begin to be uploaded from August 2014.'
