"...Be earnest and disciplined in your prayers." 1 Peter 4:7 We need the Holy Spirit to move on our hearts so this is no longer just a redundant, cliche or rhetorical statement. Also, we have to answer the call to pray. Whether the end is 5, 10, 50 or 150 years away, we need to pray now. "Just be ready." We need to not be ready based on a doctrine or end time theology, but be ready by clinging to Jesus.
