David Lampton: Managing US-China Relations

Dr. David M. Lampton delivered the 10th annual Barnett-Oksenberg Lecture on Sino-American Relations in Shanghai on November 23, 2016. This annual forum affords the opportunity for a frank and forthright discussion of current and potential issues between the two countries and is the only ongoing lecture series on U.S.-China relations that takes place in Mainland China. Dr. David Lampton is the George and Sadie Hyman Professor and director of SAIS-China and China studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Dr. Lampton is former president of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and the author of numerous books, including The Three Faces of Chinese Power: Might, Money and Minds.
