HAPPY MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY!MURDERsode 6 discusses the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. from a different perspective.  MarvELIZbish  and I examine this case from the side of the killer, James Earl Ray.  We provide some background information on Ray and what lead him to prison in the Appalachian Mountains located in Tennessee.  This is where the Barkley Marathon comes into play.  Ray escaped from prison and spent 55 hours in the Appalachian Mountains…only traveling a total of 8 miles!!!  This gave Gary Cantrell the idea to create a 100-mile marathon and allotting 60 hours for each marathoner to complete the course.  Tune in to find out how difficult Gary made this course! Please note: in the episode we mistakenly say 58 and 59 minutes instead of 58 and 59 hours when discussing the people who have completed the marathon.NETFLIX FILM: https://www.netflix.com/title/80076413  Find us on all the things and join our Facebook Discussion Group!   Want to be a guest?  Email us your stories and suggestions: naturevsnarcissism@gmail.com!
