The deadliest mass murder to occur in Nebraska since the rampage of Charles Starkweather in 1958.
It is also considered the second deadliest mall shooting in U.S. history.
Five years prior, 12 people were shot and killed and 70 others injured at the Town Center multiplex theater in Aurora, Colorado.
After shooting and killing 8 people, wounding 4 others with an AK-47...19-year-old Robert A. Hawkins committed suicide by shooting himself through the head.
