December 3, 1957.
Sycamore, Illinois (about 1.5 hour commute to Chicago, Illinois).
Maria Ridulph was just 7-years old when she disappeared from a street corner in her own neighborhood on this day.
She was last seen by a childhood friend AND she was with an unknown man…
This man appeared to be in his early twenties and called himself “Johnny”.
Maria’s body was found about 100 miles away in Woodbine, Illinois almost five months later.
The man who was convicted and jailed for her murder, was freed after 5 years...
