Max Tran, a Vietnamese refugee, came to the United States as a child in 1975. Later, as a student In graduate school, he came across a book called "Conversations with God" by Neal Donald Walsh that started him on a journey to understanding a spiritual dimension to life. He then discovered the Ageless Wisdom Teachings and he learned that the World Teacher is now in the modern world. To confirm for himself that this was true, he asked Maitreya, the World Teacher to grant him an experience of what He carries in his heart - the experience of all humanity's suffering and aspiration.
