I met Uli in 1997 and we became friends, eventually renting a house together with 2 then 3 other adults. My kids moved in eventually also. One day, we got a notice that the owner was going to do some work on the house in order to sell it, and we had to  move. Uli and I, with the kids, ended up living together for awhile. After Uli moved out, I lost track of him, and we only got back in touch recently. It was good to renew our friendship.
