Jesse Owens & Luz Long

Jesse Owens scored 4 gold medals at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, despite an onslaught of Nazi propaganda and the spiteful eye of Hitler and the leaders of the Third Reich. And one of the reasons he made it through was the friendship he struck up with Luz Long, a German long jumper and Owens's greatest competition.
