This episode is about the speed of your metabolism. Many people have reached out to me over the years who were struggling to lose weight and who thought this was due to a \u201cslow\u201d metabolism.

Often the solutions offered involve taking special pills, following very restrictive diets, and pushing through punishing workouts. And when those strategies don\u2019t work, these same people start believing it\u2019s impossible to lose weight or keep it off.

Others have complained to me that their metabolisms are so \u201cfast\u201d that they can\u2019t gain weight effectively\u2014the so-called hard-gainer.

In this podcast, we\u2019re going to talk about both of those scenarios. The good news is while some people do tend to burn more calories than others, no one\u2019s metabolism is so \u201cslow\u201d or \u201cfast\u201d that they can\u2019t improve their body composition or maintain the body they really want.
