In today’s episode, you’re going to hear a sneak peek for a new podcast. For Life: The Podcast is a series that dives into true stories of people who were wrongfully convicted. Unfortunately, it’s estimated that thousands of people are wrongfully convicted every year in the US. For a select few, their wrongful conviction is not where their story ends, it’s actually just the beginning. Against the odds, some wrongfully convicted people emerge as warriors for justice, and they do it with grace and a strong sense of purpose.

For Life: The Podcast is from Sony Pictures Television and ABC Television. The Podcast is in collaboration with the new scripted drama series FOR LIFE, produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and inspired by the life of the show’s host, Isaac Wright Jr. Wright was wrongfully convicted of drug charges in 1991, and sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison. In prison, Wright taught himself the law, and as a paralegal, he was able to help fellow inmates get reduced sentences. He even got some inmates released from their own wrongful convictions. Wright eventually triumphed and was able to get his own conviction overturned. Wright eventually became a lawyer and has continued to seek justice for those in need. For Life: The Podcast explores other true stories of injustice, tests of character, love, faith, and triumphs of spirit. The Podcast debut’s 2.11.20 and is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
