Sixty years ago this year, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. Not quite two weeks after the tragedy, The Warren Commission, established by President Johnson, was launched to investigate the incident and report its\\nfindings to the American people.

The Committee stated in publishing its findings that \\u201cthe assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy was a cruel and shocking act. This report endeavors to appraise this tragedy by the light of reason\\u2026 to present to the American people\\nan objective report of the facts.\\u201d
