When Jake Nicks was 20, he was homeless. He came from a family that didn\\u2019t make any money and had what he calls \\u2018a poverty mindset.\\u2019 Jake thought he could only be successful if he went to college. He was living on his own because he didn\\u2019t have the opportunity to go back home with his parents. It was a period of seven months living in his car, and his number one thought of escaping from this situation was, \\u201cI can become more than this.\\u201d And he knew that if he could change his thinking, he could change his life. That was how the new path all began. Jake believes that the greatest skill each of us is born with is serving others. His philosophy in life is that when you serve well, you live well.
