Two years ago when Nache Snow interviewed me for her podcast Studio 78, I was barely aware of my white privilege. Being someone who hasn’t had to face the kinds of systemic road blocks that are thrown up for so many people just trying to live their best lives, I took her words for granted.

And I want to revisit it now because now I am becoming more aware of my privilege and I want to honor her gracious support, encouragement and friendship. Because she matters.
