It’s the 2020 Oscar/1-Year Movies n Shit Podcast Anniversary Special!!  We kick off this week’s pod with our pre-show Oscar predictions (4:00) and brief tangents on the nature and backlash of rating movies (8:20) before time-traveling - Kelly’s favorite - forward for our post-Oscar wrap-up (15:34).  Non-Oscar talk kicks off (at 18:25) with a discussion of the shit we’ve seen since last time, a short and confusing TV recap (35:47), and notable entertainment news (39:51) including the death of Hollywood icon, Kirk Douglas, and unapologetic love of Hollywood icon, Nicolas Cage, before Patrick guesses the Rotten Tomato scores of various films chosen at random by Kelly (at 47:00).  Our post-Oscar recap and reactions to the 92nd annual Academy Awards ceremony can be found at the 53:53 mark.  Finally, in a move as bold as awarding an international film Best Picture of 2019, both Kelly and Patrick provide recommendations of hidden gems that neither of them have ever seen (1:10:48).
