In 2006, members of Duke University's Lacrosse team hosted a party with exotic dancers. Afterwards, Crystal Mangum, a hired dancer, told Durham Police she was gang raped by members of the Lacrosse team. What ensued was a media firestorm. The case sparked public discussions of racism, sexual assault, media bias, and due process on college campuses. However, the story doesn't end there.
