Sami Zeidan - Al Jazeera News Anchor, Reporter, Media Trainer and Podcaster

I met Sami at the Global Woman Summit in London and he is one of the most approachable and kind people I have ever met. He immediately agreed to do this interview and I so enjoyed talking about life and the world and listening to Sami singing :)

Sami Zeidan is an award-winning journalist who for more than a decade, has anchored, reported and executive produced with some of the biggest names in television: CNN, CNBC, NBC and Al Jazeera.


Prior to joining Al Jazeera English, Sami presented a number of shows broadcast on CNBC Arabia, CNBC Europe and CNBC Asia. He also presented and wrote news shows with CNN International (USA).


Over the years Sami has reported from many a seat of power including the United Nations, the White House and The European Commission, as well as from conflict zones ranging from the Korean Peninsula to the different hotspots in the Middle East, including live war correspondence.


Sami Zeidan has years of experience in training, teaching, and practicing journalism. - Sami has trained anchors, reporters, and producers at Al Jazeera, CNBC, and NBC. - Sami has presented, reported, and produced with the biggest names in television including Al Jazeera, CNN, CNBC, and NBC affiliates. - His assignments have taken him from the White House to the UN, and through war zones from Gaza to Syria. - Sami has taught at the 1st School of Journalism in the world, the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA, established in 1908.
