Today\'s mindset thought for the day

Every time you influence another person to do a better job, you benefit that person and you increase your own value.

Someone once said that no one can really motivate anyone else; all we can do is motivate ourselves and hope it catches on.

You will probably never know how much you influence others with your behavior. When you always go the extra mile, you will influence those in your circle of friends and acquaintances, your family, your co-workers, and even your bosses to do more and better than they have done before. Your value to yourself and others is greatly enhanced by your ability to influence others to be happier, more productive people. There are no salary caps or career limits for those who lead others to great heights of success. Such people are simply too valuable. ~ Napoleon Hill

I truly don\'t know who I influence when I am taking action. I feel blessed and fortunate when someone takes the time to tell me the positive changes they\'ve made in their life (personal and business) - because of the influence I\'ve had on them.

But, when it comes to motivation and motivating others I hesitate. I know my own experience of being motivated by watching someone else. As a mastermind group facilitator, I see many people going above and beyond their initial plan because of being inspired by others in the group.

I belong to a group of internet marketers, focused on the details of creating products and funnels and sales processes and businesses. When I see someone do more than they had said they would (goal: create funnel; actual: create funnel and begin marketing it and get a sale) I am motivated to do more with my own project.

It is so difficult for me to see how my actions motivate others. As I said earlier, I\'m grateful when someone tells me how motivated they were through watching, listening, or working with me.'
