On January 18th 1909 a man named Robert Stroud killed a bartender who failed to pay his sex worker. This man, who was not a serial killer, nor the rampage killer you hear about in news stories and on podcasts, ended up being one of the most notorious criminals in American history. Not for his murders but for how he conducted himself behind bars. Today we are talking about the Birdman of Alcatraz.
