In the early 1900s in Aberdeen, Washington sailors were disappearing at an alarming rate. Now, many would chalk this up to the dangers of life on the open ocean. But, when 40 plus bodies started washing up on the shore, all with bullet wounds, police knew something had to be done. On February 6th 1873 the man who took their lives, and their money, was born.
