With these breakthroughs, cold cases that had long remained unsolved began to be revisited, utilizing the power of modern investigative techniques. Among these cases was the tragic 1986 murder of a teenage girl, whose lifeless body was discovered just a short distance from her own front door in Greenock, Scotland.
